The DC-2014 International Conference on Dublin Core & Metadata Applications and the collocated DCMI Annual Meeting will be held at the AT&T Executive Education and Conference Center on the University of Texas, Austin campus. The AT&T Center also houses the « conference hotel ». The pre-conference Archives session all take place in the Harry Ransom Center (HRC) on the University of Texas, Austin campus. HRC is a very short walk from the AT&T Center.

To provide attendees to DC-2014 with maximum flexibility, day-rates are available for all four days including pre- and post-conference activities including tutorials & workshops.

The papers, project reports, and posters of the peer reviewed program are made freely, and globally available online starting the morning of the conference (October 11th). Agendas of DCMI Communities and Task Groups meeting at DC-2014 will also be freely available online with additional meeting resources being provided as they become available.

Steps in Registration

STEP 1: Review registration options

» Please review the registration options above before accessing the registration website at the University of Texas Library and note which options you wish to exercise.

STEP 2: Selection of your registration option(s)

»Access the registration website by clicking on the "Register Now!" button found at several locations on this page.

» Use the "Categories" filter on the left of the registration forms to select each of the registration options you noted in Step 1.

» You will be asked to complete the required information for each option before selecting your next option from "Categories".

STEP 3: Complete required information for first option selection

» Each option selection form includes a listing of the benefits of the option and text entry boxes for required information.

» Complete all required information.

» Note that you cannot go on to select additional options without providing each option's required information.

» You can avoid entering duplicate information by using your browser's auto-complete function after finishing the first form.

» Delegates selecting any of the DCMI Member options from the categories must include their DCMI Membership ID. If you have misplaced your ID, contact Stuart Sutton at sasutton (at) dublincore (dot) net before starting the registration process.

» If you intend to select additional options, click "CONTINUE SHOPPING". The just-completed selection will be automatically added to your shopping cart.

» When you have finished entering information for your last option, click "ADD TO CART and move on to Step 4 and completion of the registration (including entry of credit card information).

Attendees must make their own hotel and travel arrangements. To stay at the conference hotel (AT&T Conference Center) on the University of Austin, Texas campus, please register by 5pm, September 12, 2014 to get discount room rates. « Click here for hotel information & link to book a room. »

DCMI logo Conference Proceedings

Each delegate to the Conference (Thursday-Friday) will receive a conference bag containing useful resources including a flash drive with the full conference proceedings. The proceedings will also be freely available on the conference website starting the morning of October 8th.

DCMI logo Cancellations & Refunds Policy

Cancellations and refund requests must be received in writing (email) no later than September 17th, 2014 and are subject to a $50 cancellation fee. Refunds will be issued in the same manner in which payment was made and may take up to 4 weeks after the conference ends.
